Giving back to the community

William Campbell College
At William Campbell College, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, experience success and build a brighter future, regardless of the challenges they have faced. We provide a specialised, inclusive and trauma-informed learning environment for children and young people with diverse learning needs, disabilities and complex life experiences. Through individualised education, early intervention and personalised support, we help students overcome barriers, reconnect with learning and improve their engagement, wellbeing and educational outcomes.
Our holistic approach extends beyond the classroom, combining quality education with wellbeing, health, social, emotional, cultural and spiritual support. We work closely with students, families, professionals and community partners to create a safe and nurturing environment where young people feel understood, valued and connected. Our goal is to help students rebuild confidence, develop resilience and independence, and approach their future with renewed hope.
Community donations help us create these opportunities. Contributions can support technology and learning resources, inclusive books, wellbeing and therapeutic programs, financial assistance through the Brighter Futures Fund, accessible transport, sensory-friendly learning spaces, practical life and employment experiences, and professional development for staff. Every donation, regardless of size, helps remove barriers to education, create opportunities for success and build a brighter future for children and young people across the Shoalhaven.
Rainbow Club
Rainbow Club Australia is a network of social swimming clubs supporting children and young people with a disability. For more than 50 years, we have helped members develop swimming and water safety skills through personalised lessons delivered by specially trained teachers in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our programs are designed around each member’s individual needs, helping them build skills, confidence and independence in the water while creating opportunities to participate, connect and enjoy being part of their local community.
Funds raised help Rainbow Club continue to deliver accessible swimming and water safety programs for children and young people with a disability. Donations support areas such as specialised teacher training, program delivery, equipment and resources, and initiatives that help more families access Rainbow Club programs in communities across Australia.
